What We Supply for Metal and Car Finishing

From our base in Germiston, we supply rotary polishers, dual-action polishers, buffing pads, compounds and starter kits for metal and automotive finishing. Whether you are correcting paint, removing light oxidation, restoring stainless steel, or bringing a tired panel back to a better shine, the right machine and consumable combo makes the job easier and more consistent.

Rotary polishers are suited to faster cutting on harder defects when used with control and the correct pad and compound. Dual-action polishers are a popular choice for safer paint correction, finishing work and learners because the movement is less aggressive. We also guide customers on pad firmness, compound cut, and finishing steps so the surface is worked properly instead of overheated or marked.

  • Rotary polishers for controlled cutting and heavy correction
  • Dual-action polishers for safer finishing and general use
  • Foam, microfibre and wool buffs for different stages of work
  • Cutting, polishing and finishing compounds
  • Starter kits for beginners and workshop setup

Training That Builds Skill, Not Guesswork

Good polishing is not only about speed, it is about technique, inspection and patience. Our training covers the practical side of machine handling, surface prep, pad selection and compound matching, with clear guidance for metal and paint. We also explain where dust control, PPE and temperature checks matter, especially in busy workshops where time pressure can lead to poor results.

For beginners, we keep things straightforward and hands-on. For experienced operators, we focus on consistency, finishing quality and problem solving on real panels and metal surfaces. We also help teams understand how to avoid swirl marks, haze, edge burn and product waste. In many cases a better process saves time and materials on the next job, which is what most shops need.

Who We Serve Across South Africa

We work with home users, panel shops, detailers, metal fabricators, restoration teams and small business owners who need practical polishing support. Some customers want a first machine and a simple starter plan. Others need consumables restocking, machine care guidance or help choosing the right pad and compound for a specific finish. We also support teams that want better repeatability on production work.

Our customer base includes people polishing stainless steel, aluminium, painted panels, classic vehicle parts and general workshop metal. Coastal humidity in places like Durban and Cape Town can change how metal behaves, while Gauteng dust and heat can affect surface prep. That is why practical advice matters, especially when you are trying to keep a finish clean and uniform from one job to the next.

  • Hobbyists learning on their own vehicles or projects
  • Trade customers working on cars, bikes and metal parts
  • Workshops needing machine setup advice and consumables
  • Teams wanting an onsite demo for better technique

How We Work From Enquiry to Finished Surface

Clients reach us through the enquiry form on our contact page, and from there we respond with clear, practical guidance. We ask about the material, the size of the job, the condition of the surface and the finish you want to achieve. That helps us recommend a machine type, buff, compound and training option that fits the work instead of overcomplicating it.

We also support customers after the first purchase or first session. If a pad is loading too quickly, a compound is leaving haze, or the machine feels difficult to control, we will help work through the cause. In workshops, that may mean adjusting technique, slowing the pass, changing pressure, or matching a different pad to the task. Small changes often improve results fast.

Serving Germiston and Major Centres Nationwide

We are based in Germiston, Gauteng and supply across South Africa, with regular support for Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town, Durban and Bloemfontein. We also serve the East Rand and Vaal Triangle through focused supply areas that make it easier for local customers to get what they need without delay. For trade users, that matters when a job is waiting and a pad or compound must be on hand.

Our regional support covers:

  • Germiston Supply
  • Johannesburg Supply
  • Pretoria Supply
  • Cape Town Supply
  • Durban Supply
  • Bloemfontein Supply
  • East Rand Supply
  • Vaal Triangle Supply

Wherever you are working, the same principles apply: clean the surface properly, use the correct product for the stage, keep the machine moving, and inspect under good light before moving on. That approach is important on fresh paint, aged clear coat and metal that has seen weather, salt or workshop dust.

Established in 2009, Still Hands-On Today

Polisher has focused on practical polishing supply and training from our Germiston base. Over the years, our work has stayed grounded in what customers actually need on the floor or in the bay: better finishes, safer handling, and straight answers about what works. The team is led by Mandla Sipho Dlamini, with support from Karen van Wyk in sales, Thabo Mokoena as technical advisor, Ayesha Patel coordinating training, Johan Pretorius leading the workshop, and Lerato Nkosi handling customer support.

That mix of product knowledge and workshop experience helps us stay useful to both first-time users and seasoned operators. People come back because they want advice they can apply immediately, not vague talk. If you are setting up a new polishing routine, improving finish quality, or training staff on safe use of machines and consumables, we will help you get the basics right and keep them right.

  • Practical advice from people who work with polishing every day
  • Support for metal and car finishing tasks of different sizes
  • Clear guidance on safety, dust control and PPE
  • Ongoing help with technique, products and workshop routines
